Chief Andowei Binaebi has extended his warm congratulations to Comr. Doubra Collins Okotete following his emergence as the President of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide.
In a congratulatory message, Chief Binaebi described Okotete’s victory as a well-deserved mandate and a clear demonstration of the confidence Ijaw youths have in his leadership, vision, and commitment to the progress of the Ijaw nation.
He expressed confidence that the new IYC President would provide purposeful leadership, promote unity among Ijaw youths, and champion initiatives that will advance peace, development, youth empowerment, and the overall welfare of Ijaw communities.
Chief Binaebi prayed for God’s wisdom, strength, and guidance upon Comr. Okotete as he assumes the responsibility of leading the foremost socio-cultural youth organization of the Ijaw people.
He also called on all Ijaw youths and stakeholders to rally behind the new President to ensure a successful and impactful tenure for the benefit of the Ijaw nation.
